In addition to the production of camera systems and accessories for non-destructive testing, we also offer inspection services that are carried out by certified technicians. Benefit from our expertise and yearlong experience which make us professionals in non-destructive testing.
What is non-destructive testing?
Non-destructive testing (NDT) means the testing of materials, components and constructions for quality defects such as flaws, corrosion or wear. Therefore, this kind of testing often goes hand in hand with quality control.
Non-destructive testing methods
There are different methods for non-destructive testing. The different test methods make use of known physical laws to determine and assess the condition of the test objects. The conventional NDT methods include magnetic particle testing (MT), radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ET), penetrant testing (PT) and visual inspection (VT). Our products and services at viZaar mainly concentrate on the visual testing method.
Why non-destructive testing?
The main goal of non-destructive testing is to provide the highest level of safety for you, your employees, your plant and, in some cases, even for your customers. Non-destructive material testing can often be performed during on-going production, which often eliminates long downtimes. In addition, you save both the effort and the costs for complex scaffolding.
